The story
Harvested in the earliest days of spring, before the Qingming festival. Roughly sixty thousand buds make a single pound of finished leaf. The liquor pours pale jade — first a soft note of garden peas, then the chestnut warmth Longjing is famous for, and a cool sweetness that stays on the breath.
